Was worth it, no more.
I was a member of dollar shave club a few years ago and they had a great product. I recently resubscribed to the service and boy was I disappointed. The first subscription delivered high quality razors, cream, and everything else you'd need.
I re-subscribed and they went with an inferior blade, product, and everything else. A brand new razor feels used and jagged, my wife developed a rash under her armpits among other places that she had to see a dermatologist for.
I could feel the jagged scratching of cheapness when I shaved my face. 100% trash now. More expensive, inferior product. Do not buy! Trash! Avoid at all cost!

I’ve been a member for years. They recently “improved” their razors and it’s literally the most crappy razor I’ve used in my life. I just canceled a 5 year membership. Love the idea…hate the product.

These guys really took a turn for the worst. They seemed to be one of the premier shaving subscriptions out there. Then a few others started doing it and $1 shave club went down hill. Their products broke more. Weren't as high quality.

After my THIRD UNANSWERED email to customer support - without a response of even acknowledgment - I decided this is not the kind of company that I want to be a customer of. Closing my account and cancelling my subscription.

Took my money. No product. No customer support
I got an email two weeks ago saying my product shipped. The tracking takes me nowhere and I haven’t received my product. When I called customer support it’s just a recording. When I try to chat support they tell me no one is available.

I like how they always give you a reminder email before your automatic shipment is to arrive which allows you to adjust the date if you're not ready to receive a product. I have been with them for several years. The website is very easy to manage and I like them.
Horrendous Customer Service!
I had been a customer since 2016. I had noticed that over the years the product quality had drastically gone down, yet the price had increased. The most frustrating aspect is that it is nearly impossible to speak to a live representative to resolve any issues with orders or shipments. They just have automated robots in the chat function. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are now in range with in-store name brand prices and honestly I’d rather buy in store than have to deal with their poor customer service and bad products.

Had been a long time subscriber for years and last year the customer service and shipping was sooooo bad after complaining several times and they didn't seem to care, I left and went to Harry's. I decided to give DSC another shot because I really liked the 6 blade executive. Was charged for order on October 9. Today is October 30th and I have received nothing except an email on the 9th with my tracking info. When you try and track it nothing comes up and now they have a non functioning website, a non functional toll free number and non existent customer service. There will be a Netflix documentary one day about how a great start up company called Dollar Shave Club was run into the ground. I don't know how a founder could watch his company be destroyed by simply neglecting the basic of business and customer service but I guess if they pay you enough. Until the company you work for doesn't exist anymore.
Old Executive blades great; new design a disaster.
Their old Executive razors were great. When DSC was acquired by Unilever I feared for the worst. Those fears have materialized. The newest top-end razors are a disaster. The cartridges keep breaking off the handle. Unusable. Customer service just spins it as a problem with the way I click in the cartridge. Sent a new handle but no refund on the pricey blades. They clearly have a major design and manufacturing issue on their hands that they are not owning up to. Therefore, I'm out. Sad, after nearly 10 years.

Quality diminished about a year ago. Obviously an upper level decision to reduce costs. Cancelled and went to Harry’s. Much better. Sadly, DSC will be another victim of corporate greed. Enjoy your bonuses Exec team.
I used to really like DSC
DSC's razors have always been pretty good, I've been using the same razor handle for more than a year now. I've heard they aren't as good of quality any more but cannot confirm.
I used to really like their conditioners, shampoos, and body washes. But, DSC changed all their formulas, and they aren't nearly as good as they used to be. I much prefer the products you can get at any grocery store to the new DSC formulas.

Terrible Customer Service
Contacted DSC via webchat several times to resolve the issue and received no response. I never received the product or acknowledgment of receiving my complaint. I attempted again and went through the same steps without success. DSC phone number says it's an "information line" only and gives literally no information. Basically, no one will ever respond to you if you have an issue - even if its easily solvable. When I became a member back in 2013, I thought this was a great service and it's become total trash. Look elsewhere for your grooming needs.

They Say You Can Cancel, but It's Not True
While the products seem good, when I try to cancel my membership, which I've been trying to do for over 1 week, I can't seem to do it. All of the links on their website work except the one where you are supposed to be able to cancel your membership. Doesn't that seem strange to you? I've messaged them 3 times and never get a response and they aren't canceling my membership. Stay away unless you plan to pay them every month without a way to get out of that circle.
Avoid this company
Non existent customer service, they never answer emails. I repeatedly asked them to amend/cancel an order 5 minutes after placing the original order in error but got no response. 24 hours later received an email to say the order had shipped. No customer care phone number for the U.K. but one for the USA.

Had heard abt DSC & saw a 6 blade starter kit in Walmart when getting new blades & thought 'Why not?
BAAAAD move! The 6 blade cartridges are a pain to install & then rip your face to shreds! Have encountered sharper mollusk shells that cut better.
Not impressed at all, back to Aldi then...
